FL Bill Eliminates 24 Tax Credits
A Florida House bill which was introduced by Republicans and voted in favor of on March 10th will kill 24 tax credits, but save the $2 million annual tax credit for the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine.

IRS Taxability Notice Sends Issuer Seeking Call Waiver, Federal Funds
Spurred by an Internal Revenue Service ruling that its bonds are taxable, the Baker Correctional Development Corp. in Florida plans to try to obtain a waiver from having to call the bonds as well as a federal loan to refund the bonds from tax-exempt to taxable.
