GA DCA's 2014 Year in Review The Georgia Department of Community Affairs released their 2014 Year in Review report. 2014 highlights include DCA's management of $596 million from 60 different sources and maintaining an AAA Bond rating for the GA Housing Finance Authority. Timing is Right for Underground Atlanta Redevelopment The Saporta Report writes about Darron Cooper, a graduate student at Georgia Tech, who completed a research paper on the importance of the revitalization of Underground Atlanta for future connectivity in downtown Atlanta. Atlanta Wastewater Bonds Upgraded According to Bond Buyer, rating agencies have upgraded the City of Atlanta for their outstanding financial performance in their water and wastewater services. Atlanta's Streetcar Could Have Reach, Big Price Tag Next City reports on the skepticism that exists around the 2.7-mile, $98M streetcar line in Atlanta. One main concern is the large price tag in relation to the perceived usefulness of the streetcar.
