CDFA is pleased to announce Aaron Hufford, Executive Director of Development for the City of Hamilton, OH, as the newest graduate of the prestigious Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) program. Mr. Hufford joins the ranks of fellow graduates who are recognized as the most qualified leaders in the development finance industry.

The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) announced $9.5 million in awards for projects in four states. The awards were provided through EDA's Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance programs, which leverage existing regional assets and support the implementation of economic development strategies to support distressed communities.

North Carolina Department of Commerce's Division of Community Revitalization and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency announced 10 projects in Western North Carolina to develop 828 new rental units that will receive awards totaling more than $69 million in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery funds.

DHCD has an immediate opening for an Administrative Officer III in the section of the Division of Credit Assurance. This position maintains accurate data in the Multifamily database and software systems and to verify through review of loan documents what data should be entered into the Multifamily Systems.

This position monitors, evaluates and analyzes performance of multi-family properties to assure regulatory compliance with DHCD loan documents. The Asset Management Officer/Portfolio Manager reviews the financial, administrative and physical condition of the assets, advising supervisors of problems and assisting owners and property managers to implement solutions.
