Innevation Center to Host gener8tor Reno-Tahoe, NV Accelerator Program
Gener8tor has operated across the U.S. for the last 10 years and brings together startup founders, investors, corporations, job seekers, universities and more. It includes more than 75 programs from startup accelerators to speaker series and fellowships. Gener8tor was one of the chosen startups will receive co-investment from Nevada's State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program.

Wyoming Business Council Seeks Comments on SSBCI Rules
The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) is seeking input from the public on rules for two programs: Connect Wyoming and the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). Draft rules for both programs are available to review at wyomingbusiness.org/public-comments. The WBC is accepting comments for these programs until August 22, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. MT.

Small Business Efforts in Utah with SSBCI
Small businesses in Utah will soon have the opportunity to access capital through the state's new State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program. With funds authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the state is anticipated to receive $69 million over 10 years through SSBCI.

Arkansas Awaits $81.7M for Rural Businesses
State officials are awaiting approval of $81.7 million in federal aid that would be funneled to small businesses in underserved rural areas of Arkansas, including $10 billion for the national State Small Business Credit Initiative. About 60% of the funds are slated for venture-capital efforts that support technology-based companies, and the remaining 40% will be distributed to small businesses, including socially and economically disadvantaged companies.
