Parkdale, OR Sanitary District Receives $2.68M from USDA
The Parkdale Sanitary District in Oregon's upper Hood River Valley is receiving a $1.51 million loan and a $1.17 million grant from the USDA to upgrade its 40-year-old wastewater collection and treatment system.
Canby, OR Voters to Decide on $58.7M Bond Measure
Canby, OR, voters and other residents of Clackamas County will vote on a $58.7 million emergency radio replacement bond on May 17th. The bond would finance the conversion of the analog radio system to digital technology.
Business Oregon Grants $50M in Seismic Safety Upgrades
Business Oregon has allotted $50.3 million in grants for seismic safety upgrades at 41 schools. The grant funds were originally capitalized through a $175 million bond issuance in 2015.
Clackamas Co., OR Partnership Ratifes Riverwalk Development
Metro Council will join Oregon City, Clackamas County and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department in a partnership to build the Riverwalk. The $25 million project will be financed through local bond issuances and state lottery-backed bonds.
Oregon Legislature Boosts Brownfield Cleanups
The Oregon Legislature has passed House Bill 4084, which enables local governments to adopt a special property tax assessment on brownfields land, or a property tax exemption to brownfield property through a tax abatement.
Kresge Community Finance RFP
Kresge Community Finance is a $30 million program-related investment finance offering to certified CDFIs and quasi-public or private DFAs. The foundation will select applications through a competitive Request-for-Proposals (RFP).
