Ann Arbor Hopes to Make Rental Housing Greener with RLF
Ann Arbor is working with the Clean Energy Coalition on launching a $40,000 loan fund to help landlords make energy-efficiency upgrades to rental housing properties. According to MLive, landlords can apply for up to $8,000 in low-interest loans per property.
M-1 Rail Receives Phase 2 of Federal Tax Credit Funds
According to Crain's Detroit Business, the M-1 Rail streetcar project in downtown Detroit is receiving $8M as the second phase of its New Markets Tax Credit funding. The M-1 Rail project is the first public transportation initiative to receive this type of funding.
$20M Metro Place Project Moves Forward in Lansing, MI
Developers have received funding needed to build the Metro Place project on the site of the former Lansing YMCA. According to Lansing State Journal, developers received a final $3M of funding from the Michigan Strategic Fund needed to break ground.

Midwest Energy News reports about a loan program for homeowners looking to install renewable energy or efficiency systems on their property.
PACENow Provides 2014 Recap & Highlights
PACENow reports on the successes of 2014 from across the country with a growing number of operational programs building demand and completing projects. Completed projects for the year are estimated at 25,000 for the residential market and 300 for the commercial market.
