Obama's Budget Calls for $1.5B for SSBCI
President Obama's FY 2016 Budget calls for an additional $1.5 billion in SSBCI funds. The new authorization would be awarded in two allocations: $1 billion in competitive funds and $500 million in a need-based formula.

Mississippi Receives Funds for Small Businesses
Mississippi received their third tranche of SSBCI allocation. The funds will support their Small Business Loan Guaranty Program.

The 2015 SSBCI National Conference will take place May 11-13, 2015 in Washington, DC. Complete the conference survey to provide input on this year's upcoming event. Give feedback on what topics and exercises you would most like to see.

Iowa Awarded $4.4M from SSBCI Program
The U.S. Treasury Department announced that Iowa would receive over $4 million in SSBCI funds. The third tranche will continue to allow the Iowa Economic Development Authority to support businesses.

In this Office of Inspector General report, North Dakota's SSBCI program, Mandan Consortium is audited. The audit finds that Mandan obligated approximately $8.9 million through a loan participation program.
