OR Awarded $2.5M for Transportation, Land Use Projects
Fifteen communities across Oregon have been awarded Transportation and Growth Management Program grants to fund transportation and land use planning projects. These grants will support communities working to create vibrant, livable places where people can walk, bike, take transit or drive where they want to go.

Investigation Finds OR DOE Mismanaged a $1B Tax Credit Program
An independent investigation of the Oregon Department of Energy's now defunct BETC program, handed out more than $1 billion in incentives to 14,494 projects. Investigators found $347 million of tax credit records show evidence of "concerning" risk factors.

U.S Army Awards $2.6M Contract for Lamprey Passage Improvements
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a contract worth $2.6 million to Northbank Civil and Marine Inc. to construct a lamprey passage system at the 1,242-MW Bonneville hydropower plant.

OR to Receive $49.5M for Non Highway Projects
The Oregon Transportation Commission today approved 39 multimodal projects from around the state for $49,518,726 in funding.

OR Pearl District to Build $5.9M Pedestrian/Bike Bridge
The Oregon Transportation Commission announced Friday it will provide $2.8 million of funding for a $5.9 million pedestrian and bike bridge. The Portland Bureau of Transportation will provide the balance of the funding. The state funds come through the ConnectOregon program.

OR County Launches Economic Development Grant Program
Klamath County has set aside $30,000 of state lottery funds for a new grant program that can award funds to local businesses seeking a leg up.

Portland Planning a $25M Parking Garage Renovation
The Portland City Council will consider approving an alternative contracting method for $14 million worth of work on the Smart Park garage. Funding for the renovation will come from operating revenue, as well as TIF from the Portland Development Commission.
