These Guidelines are provided by the Governor's Office to assist issuers in understanding how the Volume Cap allocation formula will be administered for 2015.

TIF Leaves Legacy of Improvement in Hampton
Trustees in Hampton, IL have voted to end TIF No. 2 two years early now that all the planned projects have been completed. Quad-Cities Online reports the same may happen with TIF No. 3, which expires in 2019.

Clean Energy Challenge Expects to Award $1M in Startup Funding
Clean Energy Trust is expecting to double the amount they award out this year through the Clean Energy Challenge accelerator program, according to the Chicago Tribune. Most of the money will be given in the form of notes either repaid with interest or converted to equity if the company grows.

Maryville, IL Pursues First TIF District
The Belleville News Democrat reports that Maryville, IL is pursuing its first TIF district. The district would span 585 acres and 308 parcels and would help fund major infrastructure projects located along Illinois 159.

Rep. Hultgren Defends Munis to GFOA
According to The Bond Buyer, Rep. Hultgren defended municipal bonds at the GFOA's winter meeting. Hultgren introduced two bond-related bills in 2014, which he said he will likely reintroduce early this year. One of the bills Hulgren introduced is CDFA's Modernizing American Manufacturing Bonds Act.
