The three sites are in current use as described in #6. All three sites are to be assessed and remediated once transferred to public ownership. Once that work is complete each site is to be sold for private redevelopment.

Two sites are rail served, one is along US Highway 2. All three are within Kalispell's Core Area which was studied thru an EPA Brownfields Area Wide Planning grant project.

Two sites have known petroleum impacts and are petrofund eligible. One site is a grain elevator located along railroad tracks.

The West Idaho site and 4th Ave WN site both have fuel dispensaries in use and both have petroleum impacts that have been determined to be petrofund eligible and cleanups are underway.
