ONE-DAY FIELD SEMINARS

CDFA offers one-day field seminars around the country throughout the year. The field seminars are quick, informative, educational events that provide a basic overview of industrial development bond finance, tax credits, revolving loan funds, tax increment finance or other financing tools. Field seminars are tailored to reflect the local, state or regional perspective on financing uses and speakers are generally recruited from the surrounding area. Attendees are given handouts, presentations and other course materials.

Field seminars are conducted in conjunction with a local, state or regional sponsor. The sponsor is responsible for marketing, meeting space needs and managing the registration for the events. Sponsors have included state economic development associations, state development/finance offices and regional economic development organizations. CDFA is responsible for coordinating the speakers, agenda/curriculum, providing the course handouts and facilitating the event on-site. Field Seminars are conducted by the Council's Research & Technical Assistance Program. For more information or to schedule a one-day field seminar, contact CDFA.
