Atlanta Wins $30M HUD Choice Neighborhood Grant
The City of Atlanta has been selected to receive $30 million in funds through HUD's Choice Neighborhood Implementation Grant, according to Real Estate Rama. The grant funds will be used to revitalize portions of west Atlanta.
GA Farmers Harvest Rays as Solar Grows
A 30 percent construction tax credit for businesses and homeowners has kick-started the solar market in Georgia, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Federal tax credits, along with Georgia Power, created the state's solar industry in Georgia almost overnight.
