PACE Financing Comes to Tennessee
Property Assessed Clean Energy financing programs have been in existence since the early 2010s including three bordering states with very active programs: Kentucky, Virginia, and Missouri. Over 40 states have passed state-enabling legislation but only about 30 states have actively administered programs. In 2021, the Tennessee State legislature passed PACE enabling legislation HB 667, allowing counties or cities to establish PACE programs.
$200M in State Funding for Affordable Housing in Los Angeles County, CA
California Governor Gavin Newsom announced $825 million in funding for new affordable and permanent supportive housing developments across the state. The money, which will go toward 58 communities and create a total of 9,550 new homes, comes through a new streamlined application process geared toward accelerating new projects and cutting costs.
$209M Financing Agreement Brings 7-Story Charter School to Mott Haven in New York
A new charter school is heading to Mott Haven after a $209 million tax-exempt bond agreement was reached between the KIPP NYC and the city's Build NYC Resource Corporation, expanding the borough's charter school network. Hoping to open before the 2025-2026 school year, the new charter school will be KIPP's second high school charter in NYC and aims to serve a total of 2,800 high school students in the city.
$11M Available for Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses in Ohio
The Ohio Department of Development recently announced that $11 million in funding is still available to support minority- and women-owned businesses in the state. This funding is available through the Women's Business Enterprise Loan Program and Ohio Micro-Loan Program.
Erie County, PA Redevelopment Authority Touts Record Year with $17.6M from Loan Funds
The Erie County Redevelopment Authority has been in the business of making loans since 2002, when Erie County gave the authority an $8 million grant to establish a revolving loan fund. The authority has since expanded by establishing what it calls a one-stop shop for lending that administers multiple revolving loan funds from which the authority has closed on 100 loans worth $17.6 million over the past two years.

California's Kathryn 'Kasey' O'Connor Wins 2022 NAST Award
Kathryn "Kasey" O'Connor, executive director of the California Hope, Opportunity, Perseverance, and Empowerment (HOPE) for Children Trust Account Program, was awarded the 2022 Chris Allen Memorial Award for Outstanding Advocacy in Public Finance from the National Association of State Treasurers.
Infrastructure Contract Awards Jump a Record 25% as Federal Funds Flow
The value of contract awards spiked by a record 25% last year as federal infrastructure funds began to flow to state and local governments. The American Road & Transportation Builders Association, which tracks monthly data on the value of state and local government contract awards, said the 25% increase in calendar 2022 marked the largest growth rate since ARTBA began collecting the data in 1997.

NDC - Asset Manager Nonprofit P3 Program
The Asset Manager's primary responsibility will be to provide asset management/project management services for the Northeast portfolio. Providing customer service and client support to our government and other public sector Sponsors for which the projects are operated will be the role's main objective in addition to project management support for new transactions during pre-development and construction.
NDC - Field Director - East Coast
