2014 JobsOhio Annual Report JobsOhio produced its annual report for year 2014 and its strategic plan for year 2015, which focuses on a summary of performance, strategies, regional network partners, financials, and governance. $32M Public Square Makeover in Cleveland According to Cleveland.com, construction for a new Public Square in downtown Cleveland began this week. The project hit its $32M budget with a deal between Cuyahoga County, Rock Ohio Caesars, and the City of Cleveland. ODOT P3 Project to Begin in Scioto County Over the summer, construction of the new state Route 823 will begin in Scioto County. According to Portsmouth Daily Times, the design-build-finance-operate-maintain (DBFOM) project will be the first of its kind attempted by ODOT. OEDA Hosts Building Competitive Advantage to Win Training CDFA Ohio Financing Roundtable partner, OEDA will host a training to demonstrate competitive economic development sales skills on April 14-15 in Dublin. Participants will learn and apply skills to prepare, respond, and win in the fierce competition of economic development. Ohio Rural Made As a part of the USDA's commitment to strengthening rural economies, a state-by-state "Made in Rural America" report has been released for each state. Each state's factsheet highlights specific USDA investments in rural businesses, manufacturing, energy, water, and other infrastructure development.

2015 CDFA Ohio Conference September 1, 2015 Join the CDFA Ohio Financing Roundtable, in partnership with OEDA, this September 1, 2015, for the seventh annual conference focused on development finance. This one-day event will feature a number of economic development finance experts from around the state discussing new development finance tools, authorities, resources and approaches, and how these methods can affect the Ohio economy going forward.
