Gov. Cuomo Announces $75M in Grants for Water Infrastructure Improvements
Governor Cuomo announced $75 million in grants to support 45 drinking water and wastewater infrastructure improvement projects throughout New York State. This funding will leverage more than $440 million in total project costs to improve New York's infrastructure.
Hudson Yard Developers Snag $5B in Financing
As reported by Construction Dive, a mixed-use development in New York City has finalized a $5 billion financing package, one of the largest capital raises for a real estate project in the U.S. since the 2008 downturn.
NJ Lawmakers Approve Tax Incentives for 'Innovation Zones'
New Jersey lawmakers want to give more tax credits through "innovation zones" to businesses that agree to move to areas around the state's colleges and universities, as reported by Philly.com. Unlike other state tax credits, advisory boards would decide what types of industry to support in each zone.
Subaru Groundbreaking Offers Officials Chance to Celebrate Incentives
According to NJBIZ, Subaru broke ground on their new national headquarters in Camden, which received nearly $118 million in incentives from the Economic Development Authority.
$4.5M in Tax Credits for Secaucus Move
A New York company was awarded $4.5 million over 10 years in New Jersey state tax credits to move its headquarters from Queens to Secaucus, reports NJ.com.
Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, Central NY Win $500M in Development Funds
Three New York regions will each receive $500 million in state funds after winning an economic development competition put on by Governor Cuomo, according to SeattlePI.com. The money will help each region jumpstart long stagnant local economies.
