Gov. Beshear Leaves Economic Development Appointment to Bevin Gov. Steve Beshear passed up the opportunity to pick an economic development secretary before leaving office and left the decision to incoming Gov. Matt Bevin. Overview of Kentucky's Program Investments and Outcomes In order to create a comprehensive picture of the economic development landscape, C2ER reviewed data from a range of state statutes, reports, and websites. The numbers contained in this report are CREC and C2ER's best estimate of the dollars spent on economic development incentives at the state level in Kentucky. Statement from Warren County Government on Bowling Green TIF Warren County Fiscal Court and the Warren County Downtown Economic Development Authority have released a statement regarding a recent report that found issues and weaknesses with oversight of a TIF district. Winchester, KY Approves Catalent Bond Issue, Tax Payment Plan A $140 million bond issue for an expansion at Catalent Pharma Solutions was approved by the City of Winchester, paving the way for a project expected to add 300 jobs. Under the terms of the bond issue, the city has no financial obligation for the bonds. Gov. Beshear Presents $1.5M for Paducah Riverfront Redevelopment Gov. Steve Beshear Monday ceremonially presented more than $1.5 million in state funding to support Paducah's Riverfront Redevelopment Project, which aims to transform the community's Ohio River shoreline.
