NJ Approves $164M in Breaks to Lure Company to Camden
In order to encourage American Water Works to relocate to Camden, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority approved $164 million in tax credits, according to Philly.com. The company's move would bring 600 employees and create 100 new jobs.

State Awards $3M to NY Nonprofits for Housing Projects
Buffalo Business First reports that six nonprofit groups in Western New York will receive $3 million in state funding to help create 162 new units of low- to moderate-income housing units.

$1.5 Billion to Spur Renewable Energy in New York
Buffalo News reports that New York State's Energy Research and Development Authority is proposing $1.5 billion in spending to spur further renewable energy projects.

Gov. Cuomo Announces $181M to Fund Projects Generating Economic Opportunity
More than $181 million in economic development funding was announced by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, according to LongIsland.com. The funding will be directed toward 24 projects in nine regions of the state and will support 1,524 new jobs and retain 2,009 existing New York State jobs.

Brownfield Program Fuels Buffalo Growth
Buffalo Business First reports that the state's Brownfield Cleanup Program has resulted in more than 4,200 new jobs and $700 million in new development in Western New York. Governor Andrew Cuomo recently extended the program by an additional 10 years.
