Mason Preparatory School is using a $6.93 million bond issue through the South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority (JEDA) to refinance costs for a prior construction project and expansion.

Job Development Credits Approved for OneMain Holdings, Inc. Expansion
OneMain, a leading consumer finance company, is expanding its operations in York County. The expansion is projected to bring $279,000 in new capital investment and create 175 new jobs. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits for the project.
USDA Invests $13.6M in Citrus Greening Research
The USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture announced four grants totaling more than $13.6 million to combat citrus greening disease, aka Huanglongbing. The funding is made possible through NIFA's Specialty Crop Research Initiative Citrus Disease Research and Extension Program.
Greenwood County Approves 20-year Property Tax Reduction for Planned Solar Farm
The Greenwood County Council will offer a 20-year property tax reduction to help bring a $45 million solar generation site to land off Dixie Drive in Hodges.
