Dallas Leads US Cities in Renewable Energy Usage
Dallas uses the most renewable energy of any city in the country thanks to the purchase of wind energy credits, reports The Dallas Morning News.
$1.4B Muni Junk-Bond Offering for TX Methanol Factory
As reported by Bloomberg, a Dutch company plans to issue $1.4 billion of debt through the Texas's Mission Economic Development Corporation to build a methanol plant near Texas' Gulf Coast. The deal may be the largest offering of speculative-grade municipal bonds since March 2014.
NTEC has $117M Impact on North TX Economy, Study Finds
According to the Dallas Business Journal, a total of $117.09 million of economic output has been generated by North Texas Enterprise Center and provided the equivalent of 213 full-time jobs.
Public Improvements Program Brings Lorena State Recognition
The City of Lorena was awarded a Community Economic Development Award from the Texas Economic Development Council for their $56 million infrastructure refinancing program, as reported by wacotrib.com. The program was adopted last year and is already producing dividends for the city.
