OR and WA Push Ahead with Manufacturing Partnership
The federal Investing in Manufacturing Communities Partnership intends to accelerate manufacturing in the U.S. According to the Statesman Journal, the Pacific Northwest Manufacturing Partnership will allow for collaboration among northwest manufacturers to leverage federal funds.

$105M Financing for Eight Developments Approved by WSHFC
Seven new developments were funded to create new affordable housing projects. Financing was approved for the developments by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.

NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership Funding Announced
The Manufacturing Extension Partnership program announced the second round of competition to select operators for MEP centers. Washington is one of the 12 primary states for funding under the program.

CERB Approved $1.7M in Public Investment
According to the Department of Commerce, the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) approved $1.7 million for infrastructure development and economic feasibility studies in various cities and counties throughout the state.
