Startup PDX Challenge Offers $15K Grants for WMBEs
According to the Oregonian, the Portland Development Commission is once again offering a $15K prize along with free premises for up to six promising startups. This year, the funding will be aimed at businesses owned by veterans, women and minorities.

TIF and Tax Credits Back Historic Old Town Railroad Hotel
A Portland agency plans to redevelop a historic railroad hotel in Old Town/Chinatown into a modern housing complex with help from a $6M TIF and state and federal tax credits for historic preservation and affordable housing, as reported by the Portland Business Journal.
