USDA Provides $1M Grants to Two Rural Wisconsin Healthcare Centers
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that two rural Wisconsin healthcare centers will be receiving $1 million grants to fund renovations and equipment upgrades to provide better access to care for thousands of Wisconsinites. The Emergency Rural Health Care Grants, part of the American Rescue Plan Act, will be awarded to Upland Hill Health's Mineral Point clinic and the Reedsburg Area Medical Center.

Virginia Invests SSBCI Funds in Senior Healthcare Technology Company
Virginia Venture Partners, the equity investment program of Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC), announced an investment in Predict Health, Inc., a health technology analytics and AI company that is humanizing the healthcare experience for seniors by helping Medicare Advantage, Duals, Medicaid payers, and their partners better understand the consumer's needs and expectations to achieve better business, member experience, and regulatory outcomes.
Four Seasons, CA Residences Repays Construction Loans with $256M in PACE Financing
Nearly $256 million in Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing recently closed and went to pay off construction loans at the Four Seasons Private Residences in San Francisco, CA. It's the largest PACE financing amount ever, according to lender Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate.
New York Green Bank Provides $25M Credit Debt Facility for Energy Storage
NineDot Energy, a New York developer of community-scale clean energy projects, closed a new $25 million revolving credit debt facility provided by NY Green Bank, a division of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. NineDot is expected to use the proceeds of this revolving credit facility to finance 14 battery storage projects and the company expects that number to grow to about 40 projects or more, each up to 5 MW.
At One Year Old, Inflation Reduction Act is Already Turbocharging Clean Energy Technology
The IRA is America's most significant response to climate change, designed to spur clean energy buildout. The Congressional Budget Office initially estimated the IRA's tax credits would cost about $270 billion over a decade, but Brookings says businesses might take advantage of the credits far more aggressively and the federal government could pay out three or four times more.
California's First SSBCI Investment with Expanding Venture Capital Access Program
The state of California's Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (IBank) announced the first investment by a new state program, Expanding Venture Capital Access. The program — the first venture capital (VC) program administered by the state — was designed to create a more inclusive VC ecosystem. Unshackled Ventures received $4.1 million as the state's first investment.

Alaska received what state officials called its highest rating since 2018 when Kroll Bond Rating Agency assigned its AA to the state's general obligation bonds in its inaugural rating of the state.
Munis Steady Ahead of FOMC; Washington GOs Sell to Good Reception
Municipals were little changed in secondary trading Tuesday as the focus was on the primary where the state of Washington sold large general obligation bond deals ahead of the FOMC rates decision. Treasury yields rose a basis point or two throughout most of the curve and equities ended the session in the black.
