As reported by The Kansas City Star, the millions in TIF subsidies granted for the new BNIM headquarters in Kansas City is being challenged by a group that opposes the incentives.

The Missoula City Council voted to expand the boundaries of an existing Urban Renewal District to the Southgate Mall expansion, as reported by the Missoulian.

According to the Denver Post, two special taxing districts for the River North Art District may help retain neighborhood artists. The two taxing districts will bring about $1 million a year and will be spent on beautification projects, with about $100,000 earmarked for direct use by artists.
