Petros PACE Finance (Petros), the largest C-PACE provider in the country and a leader in innovative and structured finance, today announced that it has closed on a record $153 million C-PACE financing as part of the $820 million, 580-acre world-class development, Black Desert Resort Project in Ivins, Utah.

Bank of America to Invest $100M in Deposits to Minority-Owned Banks
Bank of America Corp plans to deposit an additional $100 million into banks that focus on minority communities. The program doubles Bank of America's earlier pledge to deposit $100 million in minority depository institutions, or MDIs, that are mostly owned by minority individuals.

Connecticut Green Bank Subsidiary Opens Fourth Investment Offering to Citizens
CGB Green Liberty Notes LLC, a subsidiary of the Connecticut Green Bank, proudly launches their fourth Green Liberty offering, a crowdfunding campaign made possible in partnership with Raise Green, a social and environmental marketplace for impact investing. Through this offering, Connecticut residents and citizens nationwide can invest as little as $100 to support small businesses improving their energy efficiency and reducing energy costs.

Rhode Island Seeks to Approve $50M Green Bond for Environment-Friendly Projects
Money would fund climate resilience programs and low- or no-interest loans for small business green energy projects. $4 million would go to replenish funds in the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management's brownfield remediation program.

St. Louis, MO Mayor Vows to Make Economic Development ‘More Transparent, Honest'
The chief of the St. Louis Development Corporation has pledged to focus resources from an unprecedented infusion of federal aid on four struggling areas of the city, part of the plan guiding the city's new economic development philosophy under Mayor Tishaura O. Jones. This included the release of two major policy documents - the Economic Justice Action Plan and a draft of SLDC's new scorecard for awarding development incentives.

U.S. Has Sent $8.28B in Pandemic Funds to Local Lenders
Roughly $8.28 billion in relief funds have been disbursed to 162 community financial institutions across the country, through Treasury's Emergency Capital Investment Program. The funding regime is one of several pandemic relief programs meant to support community financial institutions — which provide loans, grants, and other assistance to small and minority-owned businesses that have difficulty getting funding from traditional banks.
