CDFA is accepting session submissions for the 2017 National Development Finance Summit in Atlanta this November. Session submissions on deals, projects or programs that include multiple funding sources are highly encouraged. Submissions are due by May 12, 2017.
Goodyear Announces $100K in Support of Akron RLF
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company today announced that it is contributing $100,000 to the Development Fund of the Western Reserve ("DFWR") to support the Akron Community Revitalization Loan Fund. DFWR is affiliated with the Development Finance Authority of Summit County.

Franklin, TN, Debate Using State RLF for Sewer Plant Expansion
Franklin city leaders decided to take some time before finalizing a decision on a massive loan needed for a sewer plant expansion. The city council voted 7-1 to defer a decision until May on taking out an $80 million loan from the state's revolving loan fund.
RLF Will Support New Business in Vacated JC Penney
JC Penney has announced plans to close its Chanute location, and Finley wants to provide a place where people can buy affordable clothing. The RLF committee recommended that the city approve a $68,000 loan to support Trend, a new consignment shop that will move into the old JC Penney.
RLF Included in Project Funding for NC Solar Project
Canadian Solar Inc., one of the world's largest solar power companies, today announced that it has secured financing for its 92 MWp IS-42 solar power project near Fayetteville, North Carolina. The financing is in the form of a debt facility with Prudential Capital Group and a tax equity investment commitment from U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC).
West Bend Officials Expand Eligibility for RLF
Common Council members voted during the April 3 meeting to approve revisions to the revolving loan fund they oversee to include real estate investment and residential building companies that were once considered ineligible for favorable loans to fund infrastructure projects.
Petroleum Cleanup Grants Available in KY
The Cleaner Commonwealth Fund is a grant-and-loan fund established with an $850,000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund Grant. The program is releasing $100,000 to provide money for up to two awards to do cleanup projects in Kentucky.
