GA's Loan Programs Fuel Downtown Revival, Investment Rome News-Tribune reports on the effects of several low-interest loan programs that have benefitted downtown Rome by assisting with building redevelopment and job creation. CDFA Releases Annual Volume Cap Report The Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) is pleased to announce the release of the CDFA Annual Volume Cap Report: An Analysis of 2013 Private Activity Bond & Volume Cap Trends. This report provides the most complete data for the use of volume cap and issuance of cap-subject private activity bonds nationwide. Kutak Rock Public Finance Client Alert - SEC MCDC Initiative Kutak Rock LLP provides information on the SEC MCDC Initiative including when and what must be self-reported, who can self-report, and considerations for issuers and underwriters. NMTC Funds National Center on Civil and Human Rights MarketWatch covers the opening of the National Center on Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, which was funded in part by the now-expired federal New Markets Tax Credit program. Proponents fear that many projects like this may not come to fruition without a reauthorization.

CDFA Awarded EPA Brownfields Training, Research, and Technical Assistance Grant The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded CDFA with a $997,572 Brownfields Training, Research, and Technical Assistance Grant. CDFA is one of only four organizations in the nation to receive funding through this opportunity. CDFA's cutting edge program will leverage the Council's vast network to build public-private financing partnerships for brownfield projects and programs nationwide.
