CDFA is pleased to announce the launch of the CDFA Arizona Financing Roundtable. The CDFA Arizona Financing Roundtable is generously hosted by the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Scottsdale, and endorsed by the Arizona Association for Economic Development.

According to the Rose Law Group Reporter, the Arizona State Legislature is contemplating SB 1415, which contains language that would drastically reduce the funding capabilities of CFDs by capping their bonding capacity.

The Industrial Development Authority of Gila County has a checkered past, but the Payson Roundup reports on recent presentations by the Authority that point toward the changes being made to move the agency and the county forward.

Area Development Online published a partial listing of Arizona's incentive programs to initiate new business and commercial investment. Information was provided to Area Development by the state's economic development or commerce agency.

The Arizona Builder's Exchange says that Scottsdale City Council approved a measure allowing the city to accept donations from private businesses, which would be used to promote economic development in Scottsdale.
