Winning Bid Slashes Estimated Cost of GA Interchange
NCPPP reports a developer was chosen by the State Transportation Board to develop the Interstate 285/Georgia 400 interchange after they submitted a bid that would cut the project's cost by hundreds of millions of dollars. The design-build-finance P3 involves reconfiguring the interchange, which handles more than 400,000 vehicles daily.
Invest Atlanta Board OKs Bonds for High Performance Computing Center
As reported by Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta's economic development agency approved up to $1.12 billion in bond financing for Georgia Tech's proposed High Performance Computing Center.

According to DCA, five Georgia communities have been newly selected to receive assistance with their housing needs through the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH), a public-private initiative focused on helping communities strategically grow their economies through housing-related solutions
Brookhaven Council Votes to Underwrite $3.3M Bond for Skyland Center Purchase
As reported by Brookhaven Post, Brookhaven's City Council voted to approve the City to underwrite a $3.3 million bond, a bond the Development Authority needs to purchase Skyland Center.
USDA Provides Loan Guarantee Conditional Commitment to Build GA Biofuel Plant
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced a conditional commitment for a $70 million loan guarantee to help build a cellulosic biorefinery in central Georgia. USDA is providing the loan guarantee conditional commitment, an important milestone in the ongoing development of the project, through its Biorefinery Assistance Program.
