Spokane, WA Microloan Program Targets Young Entrepreneurs
A new Spokane microloan program called Young Entrepreneur Power is offering loans of $300-2,500 to entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-24. YEP is sponsored through SNAP and HUD grants, as well as through local credit unions.
WEDFA, DoC Offer Renewable Energy Manufacturing Program
The REMP consists of two main elements: WEDFA Bonds and an interest cost subsidy on those bonds from the Dept. of Commerce. To qualify, a project should be a manufacturing and energy production support facility.
WA CERB Approves $172K in Infrastructure Finance
The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board has approved $172,500 for infrastructure development and feasibility studies for the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, Port of Port Angeles, Kalispel Tribe of Indians, and City of Colfax.
Impact Investing Comes to Eastern Washington
Intermountain Impact Investments, located in Walla Walla, is providing low-interest financing to groups that strengthen and sustain rural communities.
Aberdeen, WA Redevelopment Receives Additional $550K
The Washington State supplemental capital budget approved $550,000 for the Gateway Center Redevelopment Project. The total project is expected to cost upwards of $8 million.
Developers of Tacoma, WA Town Center Seek EB-5 Funds
The mixed-use, Tacoma Town Center Project is being marketed heavily to Chinese EB-5 investors by North America Asset Management Group. NAAMG is based in Wuhan, China.
Kresge Community Finance RFP
Kresge Community Finance is a $30 million program-related investment finance offering to certified CDFIs and quasi-public or private DFAs. The foundation will select applications through a competitive Request-for-Proposals (RFP).
