Tyler, TX Toll 49 Prepares for $225M Bond Issuance
A panel guiding the expansion of Tyler's Loop 49 learned that it will be in good position to issue $225 million in bonds by mid-June. The bonds will finance the toll road extension from Interstate 20 to U.S. 69 north of Lindale.
Funding Tweak Could Accelerate New Sidewalk Connections in Downtown Waco
Under a proposal from Waco city staff, the TIF board would approve enough money for developers to rebuild the entire block of sidewalks that are connections among the "islands" of activity in downtown, including RiverSquare Center, Austin Avenue and the area around Magnolia Market.
