Orlando Bonds for Arts & Sports Venues Downtown
Orlando is pricing $238.6 million of bonds to finance downtown arts and sports venues, including a stadium that helped the local Orlando City club land a spot in Major League Soccer.
Manatee County to Dissolve CRA and Implement TIF
Manatee County Commissioners decided to enter into a dissolution process for both the 14th Street and South County Community Redevelopment Agencies. In turn, they chose to implement a Southwest Tax Increment Financing process, an effort to bring investment to an even larger segment of southwest Manatee.

Riviera Beach Approves $375M Marina Redevelopment
Voters in Riviera Beach approved a $375 million public-private redevelopment plan for its marina. The redevelopment will include new shops, restaurants, a boardwalk promenade and improved marina facilities. The developer will cover $336 million of the costs with the rest coming from public funds.
Lake Wales gets $6M Loan to Improve Sewer System
Lake Wales will receive a $6 million loan from Florida Department of Environmental Protection to complete sewer system improvements. The city already got $750,000 in Community Development Block Grant money to help repair and replace sewer lines at and around the northwest quadrant of the city.
