US Olympic Museum Funding Package May Include $500K From LART
The U.S. Olympic Museum has applied for $500,000 from the Colorado Springs Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax fund. LART is best known for helping to finance festivals and other events, but it also can grant money for capital improvements that would enhance tourism or help lure new tourists to the region.
National Western Center Will Establish CO as a Food Nexus
The 250-acre, $1.1 billion National Western Center will break ground in the coming years and convert the historic site into a year-round destination for entertainment, research and educational opportunities, and agricultural business innovation and incubation.
The Venture Zone Opens in CO to Support Startups
Peter Adams, executive director of Rockies Venture Club and managing director of Rockies Venture Fund, said "The Venture Zone addresses the needs of startups from concept development through angel investment rounds and finally venture capital and exit."
NMTC Coalition Urges Supporters to Sign Letter
