According to the Gazette, the Colorado Spring Urban Renewal Authority is exploring ways to resolve bond defaults related to its North Nevada Avenue redevelopment project, which would pay off the unpaid debt and create a revenue surplus that could be used for more public improvements along the corridor.

George K. Baum FINRA Case Shows Excessive Fee, Bond Ballot Concerns
According to The Bond Buyer, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has ordered George K. Baum & Co. to pay $270K for charging a Colorado school district more than four times the firm's normal underwriting fee, partly to pay for costs associated with promoting bond ballot initiatives.

Colorado Enterprise Fund recently announced the creation of a $300K microloan fund with the City of Loveland that will provide access to capital for small businesses and start-ups headquartered in the city.
