Colorado Lending Source Releases 2015 Annual Report Colorado Lending Source has released their 2015 Annual Report, celebrating twenty-five years of operations and highlighting the last year's loan statistics and funding achievements. Denver Readies $425M Bond Issuance for Redevelopment Deal The Bond Buyer reports that in lieu of voter approval, the City of Denver is preparing a $425 million bond deal to redevelop the historic National Western Stock Show and Rodeo complex. PACENation Hosts First Ever National Summit in Denver PACENation has hosted its first summit in Denver, Colorado, with upwards of 400 registrants coming from 35 different states in order to learn more about Property Assessed Clean Energy financing programs that are spreading throughout the nation, according to Clean Technica. Colorado Springs Urban Renewal Authority Looks for Bond Default Fixes According to the Gazette, the Colorado Spring Urban Renewal Authority is exploring ways to resolve bond defaults related to its North Nevada Avenue redevelopment project, which would pay off the unpaid debt and create a revenue surplus that could be used for more public improvements along the corridor. George K. Baum FINRA Case Shows Excessive Fee, Bond Ballot Concerns According to The Bond Buyer, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has ordered George K. Baum & Co. to pay $270K for charging a Colorado school district more than four times the firm's normal underwriting fee, partly to pay for costs associated with promoting bond ballot initiatives. Colorado Enterprise Fund Creates Microloan Fund with Loveland Colorado Enterprise Fund recently announced the creation of a $300K microloan fund with the City of Loveland that will provide access to capital for small businesses and start-ups headquartered in the city. CDFA Releases Report for Longmont Area Economic Council CDFA is excited to release the Roadmap to Redevelopment report prepared for the Longmont Area Economic Council. Project Response Team site visits are available through CDFA's Brownfields Technical Assistance Program, funded by the U.S. EPA.
