AnMed Health Issues $35M in JEDA Bonds for Hospital Upgrades
The South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority (JEDA) issued $35M in tax-exempt, low-interest hospital revenue bonds to pay for upgrade projects at its Medical Center and North Campus in Anderson.
States Try to Make it Easier to Raise Money with Crowdfunding

This Post and Courier editorial describes the Community Development Tax Credit, a 33% state tax credit for donations to CDFIs or nonprofit community development corporations. Though created in the year 2000, the initial $5M allocation has not yet been exhausted.
South Carolina Gets a Head Start with $6M USDA Loan
The Orangeburg-Calhoun-Allendale-Bamberg Community Action Agency (OCAB) secured a $6M loan from the USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Program, along with private financing, for construction of a Head Start Center, according to the Times and Democrat.
