Xcel to Build $1B Wind Farm Project in CO
Xcel Energy has filed a plan to build, own and operate a 600-megawatt wind farm and 90-mile transmission line in eastern Colorado. Xcel will receive federal tax incentives known as Production Tax Credits for the construction.
Adams Co, CO Microloan Fund Receives $1M
The Adams County Board of Commissioners, Adams County Economic Development, Colorado Enterprise Fund, and the North Metro Small Business Development Center have partnered to create the Adams County Microloan Fund.
USDA Awards Fleming and Iliff, CO Research and Infrastructure Grants
The USDA awarded the Town of Fleming a $27,000 research grant for a future wastewater project. The Town of Iliff was awarded $754,000 for current work on their wastewater system

The Denver A-Line now has a commuter rail line running 23 miles between downtown Denver Union Station and Denver International Airport. The addition is part of a $2.2 billion public-private partnership.
