New P3 Bill Lands on KY Governor's Desk
Kentucky lawmakers sent Gov. Matt Bevin a sweeping bill authorizing public-private partnerships, although it prohibits tolls on any state transportation projects that connect with Ohio.
TIFs Not Threatened by Budget Impasse
With the 2016 Kentucky General Assembly almost over, Frankfort lawmakers haven't been able to agree on a biennial state budget. But that impasse isn't expected to have a negative impact on Owensboro's two TIF district applications.
KY Lawmakers Extend Budget Deadline
House and Senate leaders agreed to postpone the final day of the legislative session from Tuesday to Friday. That gives them a little more breathing room to continue negotiating a two-year, $21 billion spending plan for the state after previous talks broke down.

The Warren County Downtown Economic Development Authority is considering hiring a consulting firm to help ensure the area is getting all the state TIF revenue it is entitled to receive.

Kresge Community Finance is a $30 million program-related investment finance offering to certified CDFIs and quasi-public or private DFAs. The foundation will select applications through a competitive Request-for-Proposals (RFP).
