State TIF Financing Process Started for $72M Redevelopment Project
According to Kentucky.com, a $72 million project was granted preliminary approval for TIF by the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority. The project is estimated to create 800 jobs and result in $34.9 million in new sales and property taxes over the 20-year period.

Historic Preservation Grants Awarded to Projects in 9 KY Towns
The Kentucky Heritage Council/State Historic Preservation Office has awarded Certified Local Government (CLG) grants to projects in nine towns totaling $86,448.

KY Auditor Investigating Bowling Green TIF District
WKMS reported Kentucky State Auditor Adam Edelen announced the launch of an investigation into issues surrounding Bowling Green's TIF district at the city's Chamber of Commerce.

CDFA Summer School is a week long series of courses presented by the CDFA Training Institute. These courses qualify for the Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. Join us in St. Louis, and start down the road to personal and professional advancement. Courses include: Fundamentals of Economic Development Finance, Intro Tax Increment Finance, Intro Public-Private Partnership (P3) Finance, Intro Bond Finance, and Intro Rural Finance.

Congress Reintroduces Modernizing American Manufacturing Bonds Act
Rep. Hultgren (R-IL) and Rep. Neal (D-MA) introduced the Modernizing American Manufacturing Bonds Act (MAMBA) of 2015. H.R. 2890, supported by CDFA and hundreds of issuers throughout the country, is a comprehensive package that will modernize and revolutionize manufacturing bonds.
