Illinois House Passes Clean Water Initiative Expansion
Governor Pat Quinn issued this statement regarding Illinois House passage of a bill to expand the Illinois Clean Water Initiative to include stormwater and green infrastructure projects, swelling the amount available from $1B to $2B.

Gov. Quinn Announces Illinois' First Social Impact Bonds
Gov. Quinn launched the Pay for Success program to provide resources to address community needs while decreasing long-term negative outcomes that are costly for taxpayers. The program invests private dollars into proven social programs, which are then paid back by the state when results are achieved and long-term savings are realized.
