Incentives May Repay $195M in Bonds for Convention Center Hotel
The Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority declared its intent to issue $160 million in bonds for a Kansas City Hyatt convention center hotel and to name St. Louis-based Stifel Nicolaus as the underwriter, according to KCBJ.
MO Gov. Signs NGA Bill Allowing Tax Increment Financing
Gov. Jay Nixon signed a bill that would allow for additional tax increment financing for a north St. Louis site being considered for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) new headquarters.
Kearney Adopts Incentive Plan
A policy presented by the Kearney Area Development Council has been approved. According to News-Press & Gazette, the resolution authorizes KADC to utilize incentives to attract commercial and industrial businesses that create well-paying jobs to Kearney.
Businessman Seeks TIF to Build $385M Development in Osage Beach
According to Ozarks First, a developer wants to use tax increment financing to convert a former golf course into a 220 acre, $385 million mixed-use development. The proposed TIF plan from the city would reimburse the developer nearly $56 million in redevelopment costs.

Rep. Hultgren (R-IL) and Rep. Neal (D-MA) introduced the Modernizing American Manufacturing Bonds Act (MAMBA) of 2015. H.R. 2890, supported by CDFA and hundreds of issuers throughout the country, is a comprehensive package that will modernize and revolutionize manufacturing bonds.
