Federal Sandy Cash Still Slow Making it to Businesses According to DNAinfo, more than 330 small businesses have applied for the federally funded NYC Hurricane Sandy Loan & Grant. So far, however, only eight business owners have received any money, according to the city's Department of Small Business Services, the agency that is administering the program. Lawmakers Push for Permanent Rule Tightening at DRPA The Inquirer reports on a rare bistate effort, in which Pennsylvania and New Jersey officials proposed an overhaul of the Delaware River Port Authority to ban economic-development spending and increase public accountability. NY's $1B NY Green Bank Aims to Attract Private Investment Crain's New York Business reports the New York Green Bank is scaling up a new market that draws private investment into projects that benefit the environment and businesses' bottom lines. NJEDA Investing $20M Into Relocating Two Businesses The Princeton Packet reported New Jersey has awarded $20,955,000 in tax incentives to two businesses in hopes of relocating them in Plainsboro and preventing them from moving out of state.
