Rural Economic Development Roundtable at TC3 USDA Rural Development is sponsoring a Rural Economic Development Roundtable on Monday, June 16 at Tompkins Cortland Community College – from 10am to 1pm - discussing business, agriculture, infrastructure and housing programs. NJEDA Approves $17M to Sandy-Impacted Businesses and Communities Seven municipalities and over 100 businesses impacted by Sandy have been approved by NJEDA for more than $17M through a combination of Stronger NJ grants and loans. New York Offers $285M in Demand Reduction Incentives As reported by Greentech Media, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that $285M will be available in the form of rate incentives to decrease demand in New York City and Westchester. Congressional Members Introduce New SSBCI Bill Senate and House members introduced the Small Business Access to Capital Act, which would re-authorize Treasury's SSBCI program. The bill will provide a new $1.5B in funding for small business access to capital programs.
