Marshfield, WI is Considering Forming a Venture Capital Firm Marshfield is looking to form a new, private organization that would pool money to help businesses in need of financing. The proposed organization would offer money to firms in return for an ownership stake in the company and also provide support and advice on how to manage and grow a business. Appleton May Invest $3.7M in Tech Headquarters Appleton may invest up to $3.7 million to bring an encapsulation technology company's headquarters to the Southpoint Commerce Park, according to a proposed development agreement. 7 Rivers Alliance All Set for USDA Development Project La Crosse-based 7 Rivers Alliance was one of seven chosen for the USDA's Stronger Economic Together program to promote regional rural development by giving local leaders access to resources through the USDA Rural Development and University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension offices. WHEFA Financing Helps Christian Life School Refinance in Kenosha Bond financing facilitated by WHEFA was used to help Journey Church of the Assemblies of God refinance bonds previously issued by WHEFA in 2010 on behalf of Christian Life School.
