CDFA Supporting The Public Buildings Renewal Act
CDFA is actively supporting H.R. 5361 and S. 3177, bills that would have a transformative effect on public-private partnerships by authorizing $5B in new P3 private activity bonds. CDFA is working with partners and Congressional offices to get the bill through the House for approval during the lame duck session at the en of the year.
MAMBA Gaining Traction in Senate Offices
After several months of targeted outreach, CDFA's Modernizing American Manufacturing Bonds Act is gaining traction on Capitol Hill. MAMBA has already been introduced in the House and, if introduced in the Senate, the bill stands a good chance of passage during the lame-duck session. MAMBA would modernize the laws that govern Industrial Development Bonds that provide low-cost financing for small manufacturers.
CDFA Pressing Lawmakers to Reauthorize SSBCI
CDFA is working alongside dozens of states to push the Small Business Access to Capital Act. This act would reauthorize and fund the highly successful SSBCI program. CDFA is actively seeking Republican sponsors for both H.R. 5672 and S. 1901.
