CDFA-Bricker Webinar Series: Solar Projects

During this installment of Bricker Webinar Series, speakers provide an overview of tax abatements typically used by solar developers in Ohio. They discuss the Qualified Energy Project program, which is the most heavily utilized abatement program for solar, as well as the more recent availability of abatements through the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority’s Clean Air Improvement Program. The panelists also discuss how abatements and payment-in-lieu-tax agreements interplay with the state permitting process.
