The CDFA Scholarship Program is designed to encourage professional development within the development finance industry and support both CDFA members and non-members who cannot afford the cost of registration fees. Scholarships are available for the following types of CDFA events: National Development Finance Summit, courses offered through the CDFA Training Institute, and State Financing Roundtables. Applicants through the CDFA Scholarship Program must agree to the following guidelines:

1. Applicant must be from a public sector agency and be currently employed.
2. Applicants from CDFA member organizations in good standing will be given preference during the application review phase.
3. Applicant must have approval from immediate supervisor to attend the selected CDFA event.
4. If selected for a scholarship, recipient must attend the event in its entirety.
5. Applicant can only receive one scholarship per year.
6. Only one recipient per organization per year can be awarded a scholarship.
7. Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own travel expenses.
8. Scholarship recipients agree to allow their name and organization to be used in CDFA marketing materials.
