It is time to register for the 2024 CDFA Summer School! Two weeks of engaging and innovative online learning from the CDFA Training Institute.

Don't miss the opportunity to learn from our expert practitioners and experience CDFA's most interactive educational event of the year!

CDFA Summer School is a 2-week long virtual series of courses designed to help you accelerate your development finance education, with a curation of seven different training courses to choose from. Attendees may register for up to 4 courses during that timeframe.

All seven courses qualify for the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. This is a great opportunity to stay on track to get the credits you need to earn your certification.

The Intro Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Finance WebCourse will explore the process of creating, operating, and maintaining a community- based PACE program. This two-day course will feature a comprehensive overview of PACE including program design, capital markets analysis, investor attraction, legal and regulatory considerations, market potential, and operations.
Intro Public-Private Partnership (P3) Finance WebCourse - Day One
The Intro Public-Private Partnership (P3) Finance WebCourse will cover basic P3 concepts, key players involved in transactions, asset valuation, contract negotiation, risk assessment, revenue stream development, and feasibility analysis. In addition, several P3 projects from across the country will be presented, and P3 experts will analyze the successful elements in each deal.

Intro Brownfields Finance WebCourse - Day One
The Intro Brownfields Finance WebCourse is the industry’s only comprehensive training curriculum that helps economic developers, policymakers, and real estate professionals understand and master the financing strategies for the lifecycle of a brownfield property. During this course, attendees will be guided through the entire brownfield redevelopment process and leave the course with an understanding of the basics of brownfields, the legal and regulatory challenges, and the financing tools available to clean up and build up these contaminated or polluted sites.
Intro Housing Finance WebCourse - Day One
The Intro Housing Finance WebCourse will explore how the development finance toolbox can be utilized to support a myriad of housing challenges and opportunities. This course will begin with an introduction to the complex world of housing including introducing terminology and landscape of the housing space in community development. Speakers will also walk through the multitude of diverse capital sources layered into housing deals based on the type of housing being developed and share case studies.

CDFA Summer School will meet each day from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastern online via Zoom. You must have access to a computer and internet to attend.

Participants may register for up to four courses during this event. All training courses qualify for the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program.

When you register for four courses during CDFA Summer School, you will receive a $150 discount off the total registration fee.
