AZ Senator Introduces EB-5 Regional Center Legislation
According to the National Law Review, Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona introduced the "Targeted Employment Areas Improvement Act," which amends the definition of targeted employment areas under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
EB-5 Regional Center Program is Extended through December 11
Congress passed a government funding bill containing a short-term extension of the EB-5 Regional Center Program through December 11, 2015. The National Law Review reports that some reforms will ultimately be made to the EB-5 Regional Center Program.

IIUSA Sends Congress Letter of Support for EB-5 Reauth.
Invest in the USA (IIUSA) delivered a letter to Congress signed by more than 875 organizations supporting reauthorization of the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program. According to Business Wire, reauthorization is critical to support job creation in sectors ranging from healthcare to construction to energy production.
