The CDFA-Bricker Graydon Webinar Series: Transforming Communities with Targeted Tools will highlight how targeted tools can be used to revitalize communities. Targeted tools address specific geographic areas and difficult-to-finance sectors within a community. Experts from across the development finance industry will present on key targeted tools - such as tax increment financing (TIF), property-assessed clean energy (PACE), and special assessment districts.

Revitalizing Brownfields with TIFs and Special Assessments
Almost every community across the country has brownfield sites that are abandoned or underutilized and suffer from real or perceived contamination. These sites threaten long-term community environmental and economic health, and they are extremely difficult to revitalize. Join expert speakers to learn how communities are diversifying their capital stacks by using tax increment financing (TIF) and special assessments to reimburse brownfield-related costs incurred while redeveloping these contaminated, functionally obsolete, blighted, historic, or otherwise eligible properties.
