Florida State University to Finance Stadium Renovations with $326.6M in Revenue Bonds
A preliminary offering statement posted to Florida's Division of Bond Finance revealed Florida State University is looking to raise $326.6 million through revenue bonds to finance renovations to Doak Campbell Stadium and the construction of FSU's football-only facility. The bonds, to be issued by the State of Florida Board of Governors, are backed by revenue generated by the Seminoles, including conference payouts, ticket sales, annual booster donations and sponsorships. 

CDFA Recognizes Rebecca Rowe as Newest Graduate of Prestigious DFCP Program
The Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) is pleased to announce Rebecca Rowe, Associate Director of Community Revitalization for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, as the newest graduate of the prestigious Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) program. As a new graduate, Ms. Rowe joins fellow program graduates who have invested in their professional development and are recognized as distinguished leaders in the development finance industry.

NJEDA Provides $3M in Loans to 42 Small Businesses Under SSBCI
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) announced that more than $3.6 million in working capital loans have been approved under the NJ Capital Access Fund. Administered by designated fund manager Calvert Impact, the $100 million fund, supported by the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program and a private capital match, leverages Community Development Financial Institutions and Minority Deposit Institutions to offer technical assistance and an affordable and flexible working capital loan products.

USDA Announces $22M to Support Underserved and Veteran Farmers and Ranchers
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced $22.3 million available to community-based and nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and Tribal entities that help underserved and veteran farmers and ranchers own and operate successful farms. Funding is made through USDA's 2501 Program. This program is administered by USDA's Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement.

Fontana, CA City Council Approves RLF to Support Local Businesses
The Fontana City Council approved a revolving loan fund which aims to support the vitality of the city's business community. This fund offers businesses an alternative to traditional loans, credit cards, or high-interest debt financing. It provides Fontana-based businesses, as well as those considering relocating to Fontana, with the opportunity to apply for financial support, the city said in a news release.

Nonprofit & Developer to Rehabilitate an Industrial Property in Pennsylvania with NMTC
A nonprofit is teaming up with an Allentown construction company to rehabilitate a former industrial property on the city's southside. Community First Fund has allocated a $6 million NMTC investment and a $2 million leverage loan for the $49 million project. The nonprofit said it is addressing the community's 25% poverty rate, unemployment twice the national average, and a median family income of 56.2% the national average.
