Financing Lined Up for Cleveland, OH High-Rise Apartment, Hotel Building
Bridgeworks, a mixed-use high-rise planned in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, has received approval on bond financing from the Port of Cleveland. Two bond financing resolutions were passed by the Port of Cleveland to aid Mass Design Group, M. Panzica Development, and GramMar in constructing the 15-story building.
Tennessee Expands Brownfield Redevelopment Incentives
For the third time in four years, Tennessee has expanded brownfield redevelopment incentives. Gov. Bill Lee signed into law SB0271, legislation amending brownfield redevelopment laws related to franchise and excise (F&E) tax credits and tax increment financing (TIF).
$8.2M Perimeter Road Project Approved in Princeton, IN
Gibson County Redevelopment Commission members approved $8.2 million in Patoka-Union Township tax increment finance revenue for Tulip Tree Drive and county-owned feeder roads into the Toyota plant, to be accomplished in 2025 and possibly 2026.
Montana Lawmakers Debate Tax Increment Financing
Senate Bill 523 would remove school levies from the calculation of the tax increment. It would also limit TIF provisions to 30 years and would require the local governing body, like a city council, to approve all expenditures of TIF.

Covington's Economic Development Department recently published its annual impact report, highlighting a successful year for the city in job creation, capital investment, and small business incentives. Some notable numbers detailed in the report include the city taking in over $44 billion in private capital investment and creating over 1,000 new jobs.
SB 251 to Have Big Impact on Future Redevelopment of Downtown Albuquerque, NM
Legislation approved this session aims to improve metropolitan redevelopment across the state by expanding funding for projects in blighted areas. The legislation, Senate Bill 251, passed through the Senate and House. It was signed by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.
Colorado Springs, CO Affordable Housing Complex Intended as a 'Connection with the Community'
A large affordable-housing complex in southeast Colorado Springs will be celebrated by developers and community supporters with a groundbreaking ceremony. Panorama Heights will add 133 apartments to the inventory-distressed low- to moderate-income market. The $45 million Panorama Heights is the first affordable housing development in Colorado Springs to obtain tax increment financing.
